Coast Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

These Coast Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are incorporated into and made part of the Coast Platform Agreement between K-Dimensional Holdings Inc. d/b/a Coast (“Coast,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and you (“Company,” “you,” “your”). These Terms govern your participation in the Coast Rewards Program (the “Program”) and describe how you may earn, redeem, and forfeit rewards generated through your use of Coast services (“Rewards”). By opening and maintaining a Coast Account in good standing, you accept these Terms and are automatically enrolled in the Program.
Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Terms have the meanings assigned in the Coast Platform Agreement and the Coast Card Program Terms. If these Terms conflict with the Coast Platform Agreement, the Coast Card Program Terms or any other agreement between you and Coast with respect to the Program, these Terms control. Certain redemption options are subject to additional third-party terms and conditions, as described below.
You acknowledge that any dispute relating to the Program or these Terms is subject to the binding arbitration and jury-trial waiver provisions in Section 2.7 of the Coast Platform Agreement.
1. Eligibility and Authorized Users
To be eligible for the Program, you must maintain a Coast Account in good standing.
Only a Coast Account owner or Administrator (“Authorized User”) with the necessary permissions may view the Company’s Rewards balance or redeem Rewards on the Company’s behalf. Other Users may be eligible to make Card transactions that earn Rewards, but may not access or redeem Rewards.
2. Earning Rewards
The Rewards Program allows you to accrue Rewards on Card transactions (except as set forth below). Coast determines the Rewards-earning rate for each Card transaction in its sole discretion and may change it at any time without prior notice (except as described in Section 4(c)). Current earning rates are available on Coast’s Rewards & Partners website.
Rewards are not earned on Card transactions made in a currency other than U.S. Dollars, cash withdrawals, purchases of prepaid cards and cash equivalents, transactions that are deemed fraudulent, disputed or unauthorized transactions, transactions subject to a chargeback, refunded transactions, items returned for credit, Fees charged to your Coast account, or if your Coast account is suspended, delinquent, or otherwise not in good standing. We may determine that a transaction type, or a particular transaction, is excluded from eligibility for earning Rewards in our sole discretion at any time.
You may not earn or may forfeit Rewards for any transactions on which all or a portion of the Balance remains outstanding for any reason. Rewards may only be redeemable upon payment in full of amounts owed to Coast.
Your accrued Rewards will be displayed in the Coast portal as (i) a dollar value for purposes of redemption as a statement credit toward your Balance (see Section 3(a)) and (ii) a points value for purposes of Ascenda platform redemptions (see Section 3(b)). Rewards typically accrue immediately after a Card transaction settles and posts to your Coast account or, as applicable, following the payment in full of your Balance when due as to such Card transactions. If you believe your displayed Rewards balance is incorrect, contact us as described in Section 5(h).
If a Card transaction for which you have already received a Reward is refunded or deemed to be ineligible to earn Rewards, Coast will reduce your Rewards balance. If the reduction exceeds your available Rewards, your Rewards balance may become negative. Newly earned Rewards will first be used to offset the negative Rewards balance. We may also offset such Rewards reversals by charging them to the Balance of your Coast Account.
Though Rewards may be redeemed as a statement credit toward your Balance or as value on the Ascenda platform, Rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, do not constitute property, and are not a store of value. Rewards belong solely to the Company’s Coast Account and may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or shared with any other person or Coast Account.
3. Rewards Redemption
Company may redeem Rewards either as a statement credit toward your Balance or through the Ascenda platform. Rewards are not automatically redeemed; Company must initiate each redemption.
a. Statement Rebates
Company may request that its available Rewards balance be applied as a statement credit toward the Balance owed on its next Periodic Statement. The redemption amount may not exceed the outstanding Balance on that Periodic Statement as of the time of redemption.
Coast will apply any statement rebate to your current Balance with Coast.
b. Ascenda Platform
Company may redeem Rewards for credits that can be used for certain offerings available on the Ascenda platform (“Ascenda Points”), an unaffiliated third-party service that provides additional redemption options such as travel and gifting-related services. To redeem through the Ascenda platform, Company must maintain valid credentials and remain in good standing with Ascenda. Once Rewards are accrued to your Coast Account, they are typically available immediately as Ascenda Points.
Redemptions through Ascenda are subject to Ascenda’s terms, conditions, and availability and any additional third-party terms that may apply to certain offerings. Company is responsible for reviewing and complying with any such terms. In addition, certain offerings such as points transfers and travel may require you to maintain a membership with other third-party services or platforms. The membership number on file with any such third-party service provider must match the name of an Administrator authorized to redeem points on your Coast Account. Any difference between these details can cause delays or prevent redemptions from transferring successfully. See Ascenda terms and disclosures for additional information.
Coast disclaims all liability for claims arising from Ascenda’s services and makes no representations regarding the availability, quality, or terms governing Ascenda offerings or the redemption of Ascenda Points.
The Coast portal will display the Ascenda Points equivalent of Company’s Rewards; however, Ascenda determines how Ascenda Points may be used on its platform, including any redemption increments or denominational requirements (e.g., redemptions may be permitted only in 25-point increments).
Once Ascenda Points are redeemed in the Ascenda platform, the redemption is final. Ascenda Points cannot be refunded, reversed, or converted back into Coast Rewards. Coast is not responsible for Company’s use or redemption of Ascenda Points on the Ascenda platform.
4. Program Termination and Changes
a. Closing Your Account
If you voluntarily close your Coast Account, your participation in the Program will end, and any unredeemed Rewards will be forfeited.
b. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your participation in the Program, including restricting your ability to earn or redeem Rewards, at any time and in our sole discretion. This may occur, for example, if: (a) your Coast Account is not maintained in good standing; (b) any amounts owed to Coast are past due; (c) you engage in fraud, misuse, or violate these Terms or the Platform Agreement or applicable law; or (d) you otherwise attempt to game or abuse the Program. Previously earned Rewards may be subject to forfeiture or expiration.
We may also revoke Rewards if we determine they were credited in error or earned through any prohibited means. If your Coast Account or Program participation is terminated for any reason, any unredeemed Rewards will be forfeited. We may reinstate suspended or revoked Rewards at our sole discretion.
We may reinstate any lost or forfeited Rewards in our sole discretion, and we may require a Fee or other conditions to do so.
c. Program Modification
We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, at any time and in our sole discretion, without liability to you. This includes changing these Terms, Rewards-earning or redemption rates, or available redemption options. If these Terms are modified, we will post an updated version on the Coast website and will provide any legally required notice. Your continued participation in the Program after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
5. Other Terms
a. Taxes
Company acknowledges that Rewards may constitute taxable income and that Company is solely responsible for determining the proper tax treatment of any Rewards and for paying any associated tax liability. Coast will not report Rewards as income to any taxing authority unless required by law.
b. Verification and Errors
We may audit your participation in the Program, including your Rewards balance, at any time to verify compliance with these Terms. Errors may occur due to system issues or other reasons. We may correct any such errors at any time, including while a redemption request is pending, which may result in Rewards being added to or subtracted from your balance. If you believe an error has occurred, contact us as described in Section 5(h).
c. Governing Law and Additional Terms
These Terms are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. These Terms are subject to the Coast Platform Agreement located here, including its Limitation of Liability (Section 2.3), Disclaimer of Warranties by Coast (Section 2.4), Indemnification (Section 2.5), and Binding Arbitration (Section 2.7) provisions.
d. Privacy
Your participation in the Program is subject to the Coast Privacy Policy available here. The Privacy Policy explains how Coast collects, uses, and shares information related to your participation in the Program. Your use of the Ascenda platform is subject to Ascenda’s privacy policy available on its site.
e. Assignment
These Terms are binding on and inure to the benefit of Coast, Company, and their respective successors and assigns. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms or any of our rights or obligations under them at any time without notice. No course of dealing or trade practice modifies any provision of these Terms.
f. Waiver
Failure by Coast to enforce any right or remedy under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy or any other right or remedy.
g. Severability and Survival
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect and will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination of the Program or these Terms will survive.
